Shifting Sands
Our beach road has become a car swallower. Don't even think of riding a bike on it. The police made the mistake of slowing down by this spot and it took all four of them to push their car out. If you look at the sign, it says help is available at the green house two doors up the road. It's even hard to walk through. This, however, is the only pit that has a sign.

Good dog
Tuli is such a good dog! She loves going to Buddy's, a bar/restaurant on the malecon (beachfont walk) in Progreso. She behaves perfectly in the restaurant and is often treated to one slice of bacon. Then she just chills out under our table. She doesn't bug you when you eat, either. Like I said, Good Dog.
A bit more yard improvement
After we put the concrete pad in, we decided the front of the house needed planter boxes. So the guys who did the concrete pad came back and made us some beautiful concrete planter boxes. They are smooth and even and really look good. I'm not sure if we'll paint them as they look pretty nice the way they are. Maybe red would be good to go with the trim on the house. Someday when I get up really early so it's not 115 degrees in the shade!
